Product Overview
At the height of pocket-watch and timepiece production, there were many new technological advances utilized to ensure the accuracy of the movement. Hundreds of years ago, gravity was said to be an invisible culprit that affects how well watches and clocks performed, and in response to this, the tourbillon movement was born. Designed to rotate the escapement and balance wheel, the tourbillon component helped usher in a new era of timekeeping. Although they no longer serve a functional purpose with wrist watches today, they nevertheless serve as status symbol: one to show off the highest class of watch-making and horologic history. Every watch company worth their salt has produced a tourbillon timepiece, and that being said, we are proud to present another of the Stuhrling Original’s Tourbillon collection. One of the newest additions to Stuhrling’s collection, this marvelous timepiece quickly gained widespread attention from the first moment of its debut! A handsome watch in its own right, the Imperial Tourbillon takes us back to an era when watch ownership was for the wealthy upper class. This Limited Edition timepiece features a two-level dial with guilloche soleil design on the main dial, and an open heart that exposes the rotating tourbillon movement at 6 o’clock. The Imperial Tourbillon measures in at an impressive 48mm from 9-3 and includes Krysterna crystals, front and back. To top off the classic beauty of this timepiece, the Imperial Tourbillon is also pure mechanical, made the way watches were produced at the crux of watch-making history! The Imperial Tourbillon comes mounted on genuine farm-raised Louisiana alligator straps with a classic matte finish. Each strap chosen is from the tail and has been selected to have the large square grain. Dual deployant clasps decorated with the Stuhrling signed logo ensures that the strap will stay in good condition for years to come.

A first in Stuhrling Original’s watch collection and the most recent member of the Mad Man family, the Mad Man Traveler makes a tremendous impression the moment it was finalized. This brand new timepiece is very special in that it is the first and only Analog-Digital watch Stuhrling produced, and when you do things right the first time, you end up with something like the Mad Man Traveler. Right from the start, the Traveler exudes the Mad Man’s personality, as it is in the same massive stainless steel case design. The dial is decorated by Cotes de Genève, and atop it, individually applied Arabic numerals and baton-style indices. At the center of the dial you will find the partial circle minute track with hour markers, split by the digital read-out windows. The lower arc was made larger to give the Traveler that classic Mad Man “smile.” Powered by an add/split function chronograph movement, this amazing timepiece also functions as a world timer; by setting your current time, you will be able to track the time from all the major time zones in the world. Unlike the original Mad Man, the Traveler comes on a genuine leather strap, comfortable and stylish with its indented hexagonal studs. Outfitted with a solid stainless steel link bracelet, this timepiece makes for a perfect business-casual accessory. The Nemo Sport, however, takes the execution colors to the next level by incorporating it into a wonderfully comfortable high grade silicon rubber strap.
